I just tried downloading this mod and im getting an error message every time i click to open up arma anyone have any ideas on what this is
Include file x\cba\addons\main\script_macros.hpp not found

got the same problem over here.

You both need to have CBA installed to run ALiVE:
Dependencies: ALiVE Requires @CBA_A3

i did and it didnt work, its just the one link at the bottom right?

Yep.
If you are still getting the error:
Include file x\cba\addons\main\script_macros.hpp not found
it means that CBA was not found, so double check you have CBA installed and loaded correctly, follow the install guide: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=18767

thanks, i never enabled the CBA in game so thats why it didnt work

one last question, what search parameter should i put into the arma 3 multiplayer to find a server to get on

Hard to say, you could try searching for ALIVE but not sure you will find much, most of the groups that play ALIVE are private. You could join the warroom to see if you could join one.
