i'm working on this Mission using ALive 0.8 but when uploading it on a Dedicated server i just get this error:
Warning: This version of ALiVE is build for A3 version: 128.127008. The server is running version: 130.127372. Please contact your server administrator and update to the latest ALiVE release version.
Do i need to downgrade the server/arma 3 to get ALive 0.8 to work?
No it works fine, its because 0.8 was released just days before the latest Arma update. I assume its a failsafe / informative message to get you to update as the devs of Alive probably intend to push an update everytime A3 is updated to make sure everything is working. As far as I can tell, nothing is broken
You can change the versioning settings in the require alive module to warn. As ToeJam says this warning is a leftover from the alpha and beta periods when frequent map updates forced us to release new ALiVE versions for every release.
