    Hey,
    I'm running a mission on Altis with MACC on the USS Freedom. Everything works well up until the aircraft respawn. They seem to be often respawning two at a time and on top of each other - Which makes them go boom of course. Or it will just respawn on top of an already stationary aircraft. There doesn't seem to be any check on where to respawn aircraft. The area between the island and the two main catapults seem to be extra troubled with this.
    Is there a fix for this?

    Bonus opinion: I read somewhere that MACC takes in to account what ordnance aircraft have when choosing which aircraft does what . But it's a little annoying when MACC picks an A-164 Wipeout for a CAS or DCA mission. It has 2 AA missiles as standard. I tried editing the mission and remove the AA missiles from them, but they still were picked as CAP\DCA aircraft. Not sure why that was.

    I fired up Auburns Operation Reklamation, a battle with two invading AI commanders on each side. I let it run about 10 hours on a LAN server. After that time, I never saw any waypoints under the operations tab in the tablet. Also many land based units were out in the sea.
    No other mods than the ones needed for the mods. Plus a few mods like f/a-18 and the Nimitz.
    Pretty sure the units aren't supposed to fight in the middle of the ocean :)

    Try out the ALiVE mission combat shock on altis. It's using rhs but not the factions that contains planes. It had a LOT of helicopters being used by macc. They were all placed by the placement modules or macc module. But I saw a lot of recce missions and CAS missions.

    Maybe obvious, but have you synched the empty units to the virtual module?
    And do they belong to the same faction that you've set in the commander module? Fairly certain the AI commander will only use units of its own faction.

    I'm having a similar problem. Just came back after months and I used to be able to get it to work, now it doesn't.

    I copied a faction and started editing some of the units, ran out of time so I exported the full faction (not the file option) and pasted in the hpp file. Then copied the config and pasted in the cfg file. Pbod it and fired up the mod to test. It worked fine until I started editing the units that I didn't have time to edit yet. Whenever I edit them and save changes, it just reverts back to original.
    Am I missing something really simple here?

    Am I missing something or does the class role not get copied over when I create a new unit in the unit editor?
    Like snipers, explosive specialists and medics don't get their respective role icons even tho they have more or less the same gear from the original faction I copied it from.

    I've created a custom faction by copying the RHS US army and modifying it a bit. I think those work, this seems to be only when I create a new unit.

    Can it be edited in manually somewhere?

    I will do that.
    However I read somewhere that he is very busy irl right now. So we might have to wait. He also has a Dev build of the Nimitz that has a dynamic airport built in.

    It's a shame because MACC, f/a-18 and the Nimitz could potentially be best friends.

    Also, a feature request: I've noticed the AI have gotten pretty good at ejecting when getting shot down. It would be cool to connect that to the c2istar and get a pilot rescue mission that involves an actual MACC pilot. I think it would increase the immersion if it's a rescue mission that actually has some background behind it. And that a MACC pilot might be worth saving as you only have a limited amount of them, based on how many air assets was created at the start.

    At work now so can't do anything right now.

    But no alarm is sounding. The pilots just stand inside that little room.

    Last time I tried landing an AI F/A-18 super hornet on the freedom it did find the dynamic airport and had the correct approach, but it didn't use the tail hook. And if it managed to land (with some help) it would taxi off the carrier. But it does take off fine. That was a few weeks ago, maybe it was fixed in the updated version of the mod.

    Will try more when I get home. And with just ALiVE, CBA and F/A-18 loaded this time.

    Hey!
    So regarding the freedom and MACC,
    I created a custom faction with the Orbat tool, added the TeTeT F/A-18s. The pilots spawn, the air tasking is active but the pilots never run to the aircraft and they never teleport to the starting location like the black wasps do. So yeah, NATO faction and black wasps work fine.

    Is the freedom only working with the black wasps at the moment? And is there something i can just change myself? Like if I un-pbo and change some line from the black wasp class name to the Super hornets?
    I'm thinking maybe they use unitplay or something and was only recorded with the black wasp so far.
    If so, no biggie, I'll just use the wasps...but maybe there's an easy fix.
