Made a mission on this map a couple months ago, using a custom ORBAT specifically.
Had a similar issue, although I wasn't running civilians.
My workaround was to get quite liberal with the TAOR markers. If you get really stumped, you might need to index the map .
PKL, unfortunately, doesn't seem to be supported by ALiVE as of yet, so weird little bugs like this are always bound to happen!
As an alternative, G.O.S. Song Bin Tanh is supported by ALiVE, and has a similar, South-East-Asian vibe to it.
Da Krong is also supported, and is a fantastic map, but is built into the Unsung total conversion mod.
Long time lurker, first time poster.
Made a few ALiVE files for my unit, and never encountered any issues that a quick google, or hitting the keyboard a few times hasn't fixed, but finally got stumped.
Building a new file for the crew, using Iron Front Arma 3 units, specifically a custom ORBAT to make a DAK faction.
Issue I'm having, is when the units spawn in, they fire on each other without end, and will not recognise the player faction (independent) as hostile, despite it being set as such.
The modset I'm using is:
CUP Terrains - Core
Faces of War
All mods are from the workshop, and running the latest versions.
I don't think I've missed a step getting it set up...
Just aiming for a basic file that populates the map with hostiles, without persistence, so the ALiVE setup in and of itself is pretty simple.
Please let me know if there's any other specific information I can provide, and I'll do so!
