Please forget I ever posted that. Got it working. And it is glorious
I am also not able to get a mission to load that uses alive on x64 dev. hangs on load. Tested without any other mods, did not work. tested other mods without alive, worked. tested alive and other mods, did not work.
SINCE we are on the topic... ALiVE is a wiki that could extensively use Semantic MediaWiki. See Semantic Bundle .
@Friznit my plan was to go through and fix old module names, replace old module photos. First. So... lots of pages. Here, I admin a few wikis. Noticed you have bureaucrat access, so if you care to fix privileges these are the links to glance at:
How
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:User_rights
Where
http://alivemod.com/wiki/index.php/Special:UserRights
I would suggest giving the user group edit access, then utilizing this extension (if you guys will be on enough to approve changes, otherwise leave that task to someone active on there, or trust the community to manage their own edits):
There is also this:
https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/BIS_fnc_exportFunctionsToWiki
If you can get the import page working, which you might be able to take right off BIS wiki, should be able to use this to export your functions. Assuming they have standard headers.
ty @Friznit t. I got in. No edit privileges, if you can make that change. other than that all is well.
@AUTigerGrad GREF does work with ALiVE if you group them properly. I have properly configured GREF factions in the ORBATRON shared drive. Logistics will work.
Thank you for correction there. I referred to vanilla GREF with no orbat modification. But yes sir you are 100% right.
@Friznit thanks for the prompt response.would scripting in objectives allow the opcom to prioritize and focus better, perhaps? Also, follow on question. What does have the most performance impact?
Does not work :( @Tupolov this would be an awesome idea though man. Could solve performance issues when combined with profiling... AI wouldn't even process parts of the map until they became relevant to the mission.
Can ALiVE modules be hooked up to triggers, or do they play well with triggers?
For example... Could I hook a placement module up to a trigger, so that the OPCOM only starts processing that TAOR once BLUFOR enters the trigger?
