It takes as long as it takes to start engines and fly from the module location to your location. I've found it sometimes better to call them in to the AO on hold fire/defend and have them loiter at a distance closer to your team. Then if you need CAS they arrested only a minute away. Just watch there fuel state, they don't RTB if they are low on fuel.

Same thing I've had to swap them out for UH80's for the time being.

Just a question regarding re supply via Heli Insertion, would it be possible to have the Helicopter pull into a 0.5m hover rather than actually land? This may solve the problem with them settling on unsuitable terrain and sliding over the troops deploying or ending up going unserviceable in the LZ due to landing damage? Even a routine to supply via insertion if the terrain is unsuitable for landing would be cool.

Looking forward to it, don't take any of the above a criticism, I totally rate your efforts. Just ran the best recon patrol which turned into 1 hour of CAS, then a reinforced assault on LZ Connor culminating with a defence of the objective against a counter attack. Probably the most realistic 3 hours of gameplay I've ever experienced! Awesome!

    Keep it up

Just bumping this up again ARjay, with the new @AliveServer folder and command line switch in .90 does this now allow Linux servers to connect to the war room? I've set it up but when as per the instructions but I gather not having the .net framework on the Linux server will prevent it from working? If I enable the mod. The game fails to load after launching from the lobby. I assume this is why as the database module stalls at the communications phase?

Btw I really live where this is going even non persistent leaving the server rolling gives us hours of carnage. Awesome! And thanks.

Also anyone know a site hosting arma servers on windows? It would be worth switching to get war room running.

No worries thanks for the effort, save me scratching my head trying to figure it out. Pity the config can't be in the mod folder. Keep up the great work. Really appreciate it . Donation coming you're way.

Yeah ok, what about placing the support elements some place safe to spawn, ie not on water or a structure. If it's not that, you'll need another responder I'm out of ideas.

Have you synced the individual support modules ie CAS TRANSPORT to the base support modules? I've found the most common cause of what you describe in my missions is me forgetting to sync the individual modes to the main support module.

    Hi there
Firstly Awesome mod, I'm loving it! Secondly I have it running well on my hosted server, with everything running as advertised except the database. Is it possible to set up the ALiVE config file to access the WarRoom on a hosted server running Linux? I don't have ftp access beyond the customer folder on the server.
    Cheers
