Persistence Issue (Server Save and Exit)

    Been working a while trying to get this fixed and I'm a little tired so apologies if I get confusing.

    I am using TADST for my dedicated server and am running a few mods on top of ALiVE (Ravage, CUP, etc). Been dealing with this issue most of the afternoon and night with no luck. I've run a sample mission with just ALiVE and CBA and that seems to work as expected so something is up with my mission in particular I think. I've been on and off the forums trying things that worked for others and I'll list the main ones that i can remember:

    • Have renamed the mission and onLoadname fields with no whitespace and no special characters
    • Removed any modules from Ravage that may have conflicted with the save
    • Tried both Cloud and Local saving
    • Made sure everything is set to Persistent
    • Ran tests with ALiVE.cfg in the root directory and Local and even in the server profile just to be safe (not at the same time)

    That's all I can think of atm but nothing has worked so far and since I really should get some sleep, I thought I'd just leave this here and see if there's anything I may of missed that I can't troubleshoot myself.

    If these files aren't the right ones or something else is required I'll get on that once log on tomorrow. If need be I'll also make sure the mission saves without the extra mods.

  3. ^^^ If you determine the issue to be with Ravage, have you reached out to Tourist? He seems to have everything working ok, or at the very least, he's working on it. :)

  4. Unfortunately the issue does not seem to be with Ravage, even after removing the mod dependency from the mission completely. I will run further tests with the mod re added and using Tourist's method in that post and see what I come up with meanwhile.

  5. I should also mention in case it means anything that I'm running TADST on the same computer as my Arma 3 client as I don't have a second machine to use as a server.

  6. Update: The issue has something to do with how I've set the mission up as an early version of it can save but this one can't. Currently looking into it.

  7. Seemed to be an issue with having two opcoms for a single faction (had two controlling their own placements). It saves locally now, just a minor issue of the server not being able to connect with my war room profile left to deal with that's been happening from the start but that isn't really a problem so long as the game saves for me.
