Server ip conflict

  1. 10 years ago

ARjay is it possible to get our server ip and group wiped from the ALiVe db.

We had a group leader delete his account and not promote an admin so we had to create a new group because we could not access the group details and server details. Now we have 2 groups with the same server ip and there seems to be a conflict because some members player data does not stream to the new server battle feed like it did with the first group and server but yet some do. There seems to be a conflict now I assume .

If you can post your group names and tags in here, I'll see if we can get that sorted out.

  3. 1ST group: FLEET MARINE FORCE GAMING [FMFG]

2ND group: FLEET MARINE FORCE [FMFGB]

    thanks ARjay

  4. Sorry to hijack this thread ARJay, but I think I'm having a similar issue. I had successfully integrated my server into the War Room, but i unintentionally removed the server from my profile and when i added it again, I received a different "alive.cfg" file. When using this new file, I can't load the server. I simply get a black screen. But when I remove the database module and remove @arma2net from the commandline, it works fine....just without integration into the War Room.

    1st group: [HSV] The Astronauts
    2nd group [HSV] The Astronauts

    Same server IP: 216.246.206.218

Thanks in advance for your help and I love what you fellas are doing.

  5. @kybosh 1ST group: FLEET MARINE FORCE GAMING [FMFG]

This is a badd ass feature but still no luck. Where you able to look at this yet ARjay? thanks in advance

  6. ARJay,

    More data for you...

Note the user name is from my old "alive.cfg" when I had to reform my group, I was assigned a new username and associated "alive.cfg".

I think the Alive war room is using My server IP to connect with my older account and not my new one...even though I replaced alive.cfg file, which contains a different user id as shown above...

    Help!

    Ff

Kybosh, I have reset a couple of things, see how you go now. Just checking that you got the new cfg file when you created the server for the new group?

  8. Yes... Everything seems to be working as it's supposed to...Thanks a ton ARjay
