Tried taking them out of the Virtual AI system, however they spawn and just stand there forever more because they never leave the area to go back into the AI system.
Any suggestions?
I'm wondering if I can make a trigger or any other device to de-virtualize units in a particular area as if a player were within the vicinity.
Looking at creating some very basic zones through sector control module, however of course virtualized units cannot capture.
oh ok cool. I may be able to help with chute i'll take a look later on - I know I have some working airdrop scripts laying around.
That's likely the simplest rendition of an airdrop i've ever seen btw ;) And I had no idea how to use onmapsingleclick until now, thanks!
Perhaps what we need is a good library to mess with the functions on the tablet itself ;) Then we could just remove all the menu entries and create some airdrops and whatever as needed.
Just an idea.
Is this possible? I've not seen any examples of it when I was looking at limiting airdrops, altho I will recheck the wiki in a sec.
I'm wondering if I can add a couple of standard ones to the radio dialogue.
I'd really like to turn off the player logistics system and call them in via script manually.
Otherwise I'll just make my own I guess.
Edit: Nevermind, way more control doing it myself.
Yeah, I kinda worked this out. This is a huge problem in terms of gameplay imo.
I've only ever gotten it as a random, I am messing around editing my mission atm, I'll give it a go for you soon.
Figured I'd ask here as this is quite possibly where this map would be getting the most use ?
Anyhow, I installed the included Shezan74.bikey, however it's not accepting it.
I run this map with the ascz_a2_map_fixes mod.
Works good in SP.
I wonder if anyone can say how to do this in the INIT file in order to stop all orders until (perhaps) a mission intro had finished playing.
Spyder and I had some issue with this earlier.
ahhhh this makes more sense.
Will do, in fact I was close to the same conclusion as I'd just tried a civ placement of CAF, and a mil placement of ISIS... ;)
thanks for the help.
