Possibility of Server side only?

    Hi Guys,

    I really like the way ALiVE can populate a terrain. But i have a "quick" question.

    Is it theoretically possible to have it as a server side mod by scripting in the population modules in the mission during startup?

    I don't need the players to have the functionality of the alive menu or the extra objects in the mod but would really love to be able to use Alive to quickly and efficiently populate my terrain?

    Up until now i have been Using DAC to accomplish this in my missions but i prefer the way that alive handles virtual AI's outside of the players immediate area.

    Look forward to a reply from a dev about a possible way of accomplishing this goal!

  2. Why not just populate it with the modules and just not use the bells and whistles that don't mesh with your mission's vision?

  3. It's possible, but would take a lot of work to do so. Just create the modules, set the variables, and run them through their init functions.
