[SOLVED] ALiVE War Room Sys Data ERROR

    Ive been banging my head on this for days. I need some help. It appears as though the Sys Data module isn't even initalizing.

    Do you have @ALiVEServer installed? Did you follow the instructions on the War Room to setup a server?

    Yes I did. I also have the Alive parameters set for the start up. Everything else about ALiVE works fine, its just the Sys Data error - then it doesn't even bother trying to connect to the War Room. I've triple checked the alive.cfg and checked the server information to ensure that the Hostname, external IP, are correct.

    If you have a Windows server make sure the alive.cfg file is 'unblocked' in Windows. (Right-click, Properties)

    If you don't have desktop access you might need to have your provider do this for you or at least verify Windows isn't blocking it somehow.

    If you FTP'ed the .cfg file to your server then ignore my suggestion :)

    This error basically means that either it can't find the dll or .so , the dll or .so failed to load or the plugin doesn't work with your OS.

    Can you confirm where your .dll is located?

    It should be in a directory named @ALiVEServer which is in your root A3 directory.

    Is there an alive plugin log file in @ALiVEServer?

    It looks like ALiVE was spelled wrong. I had it as @AliveServer... If that matters then man... I am sorry for the miss.

    FIXED:

    Deleted the ALiVE Server folder... redownloaded it... before UNZIPPING it, I unblocked the archive. Unblocking the individual files apparently does not work. After I did this, everything was fine! Strange fix, but hey, whatever works.
