Player persistence module

Hi, i wonder how to make the player persistence module work?

We run our server with Alivewarrom and have the database connecting and working. Only thing we havent been able to get working yet is the persistence module. With other works, it would not save the playerdata when disconnecting and connecting to our server.

Is it any type of database/datafeed behind that we are missing? Is SQL support needed to our server?

Thanks for all feedback in advance.

Make sure when you place the player persistence module, you scroll down on the module parameters and change Save to Database to Yes.

It is set to No by default.

Yeah, well on the wiki I read something about there needing to be at least two people on the server. Is it btw necessary to hit server save and exit? Also does persistency need to be enabled in the server.cfg file?

For now, you can save with just 1 person on the server.

Yes it is necessary to hit server save and exit

Not necessary to enable persistent in server.cfg, but admittedly we haven't done much testing without it.

  5. Well I'm working on an MSO type mission and testing it with our guys, they really love it. I'll try to get some structured info your way.
