    The game is hosted on a dedicated (linux) server currently, by default the QCB was aimed at JIP clients. Do you guys think I'd have better luck with leaving the AI on the server, or connecting a HC to it? The rest of the AI behaves like good ASR_AI, throwing smoke, taking cover, being suppressed, etc.

    @Friznit I'm running a subset of that modlist += ACE. Did you need to add any troop classes or similar to get ASR_AI to work for your QCB?

    I'll fork again and remove the ACE components, enable QCB again, and load with only ALiVE+CBA; then go from there.

  2. Cool. Thanks. When you get a sec, could you clarify if I can use them (your missions and the sample missions) for persistence "right out of the box" so to speak, and if they're set up to be able to save/resume with War Room? I don't generally have too much time to play so being able to chip away at a mission over a few weeks and continue relatively where I left off would be ideal.

    Oh wow thanks so much. LOL! The fpsplayers link isn't working for me but the others seem very VERY helpful.

    So I guess barring me getting any other suggestions for a pre existing mission that I can save persistence on The War Room with (I can't tell if any of the ones in the OP are compatible with that without tinkering), I'm going to roll with AuTigergrad's Royal Marines Kunduz since it already is set up for SP and AI slots:

    Hopefully I can get it synced up to War Room tonight and also hopefully I don't annoy the heck out of you guys trying to see this through. :) Also triple hopefully AuTigergrad posts his new Altis mission soon here too. It's fantastic.

    Pretty sure I enabled persistence for each mission. I did disable AI (should probably change that once I update them). If you can't get it, let me know and I'll go back and update Operation Landlord real quick so that it supports friendly AI and ensure it has persistence setup.

    To open and create .pbo files you can use a program such as PBO Manager to do it rather easily.

    • Should be compatible with persistence
    • Allowed use of AI in multiplayer
    • Added "Select Assault Mission" action to map
    • Added armored vehicles to base for player use
    • Added ability for player to recruit AI (action located on flagpole in base)

    There is no real endgame to it, however if you eventually push through most of the enemy territory and stop getting assigned tasks you can assume you crushed the opposition.

    Just a heads up to anyone looking to download Operation Landlord. I had a real tough time getting the mission to load with the ALiVE Data module and persistence enabled on my dedicated server until as a last ditch effort, I changed the mission name to "Operation_Landlord.Altis"

    I don't think War Room likes the %20% stuff.

    Just a total guess but that's what I needed to do to get it to run on a dedicated server. I'm sure someone will come on here and prove me wrong but I tried a bunch of times and it wasn't until this change that the mission would load.

    The Sahrani Liberation Army has invaded the tiny Kingdom of Sahrani. As a long time ally, Great Britain has dispatched 3 Commando Brigade to the region to help defend the nation from SLA aggression.

    As with my previous missions, this is set up preferably as a long term, persistent COOP Campaign for up to 25 players. It can also be enjoyed in Single Player.

    It includes:

    • Custom FOBs with Virtual Arsenals, Recruitment Spawners, and Vehicle Spawners
    • Headless Client Support built in. Should automatically connect to Headless Client on dedicated server if HC is properly set up beforehand.

    The Syndikat Regime has ruled with an iron fist over the Tanoan Islands for years. Now, with the world clamoring for an end to the atrocities, British Forces have launched an invasion of the Island chain in an attempt to crush the regime and bring freedom back to the Tanoan people.

    For those unfamiliar with my style...this is a long term, persistent multiplayer campaign designed to be utilized with the outstanding ALiVE war room. It is best played with a dedicated server to save progress, however you can absolutely play this campaign on your own as well and have a blast.
