Optimization of My Mission.

    Hi guys.
    My mission is Takistan - Natofor.
    You can download on Workshop of Steam.
    I have a problem.
    I testing it in my server.
    RAM : 10 GB
    CPU : Xeon e3 - 1245 V2
    SSD : 240 GB

    My server do 10-12 fps with this situation .
    Player in Game : 5

    Spawn radius is 700.
    And i remember that the limit of group spawn is 8.
    In fact you can see this in images.
    For you, what are the optimal setting for optimize and create one gameplay addictive.

    First of all you have 1170 object on the map at mission start.
    Next you have multiple mission scripts.
    ALIVE - you have two MIL OPCOM using the same civ placement. You should use one OPCOM with multiple factions (same side) synced to two civilian placement with different taor marker separated with blacklisted taor marker. You can use custom placement with priority and size param.
    There you can define which faction should be placed where.
    Anyway having 3 MIL OPCOM in the mission can provide server to drop fps.
    CQB Spawn Ground: 1000 is to far. Set it to 500.
    Besides 3-party missions system clean script, there are no map cleanup script .

    Consider to remove some (at least 500) object from your mission. Use any cleanup script to delete wrecks , bodies and other stuff dropped on the ground.

  10. This is not a good idea because this is your mission and your game play. I need to play with you some time and then we can do some polemics about it.

    I'm trying to create a realistic environment.
    Even with the latest version I lowered the "Spawn Radius" from 1500 to 700.
    I lowered in Virtual AI the "Active Limiter" from 30 to 20 .
    Also in Civilian Population the "Active Limiter" from 30 to 20.
    I put it back in Every Military Placement the Override Infantry to 8 .

    Before the enemies were too many, so I lowered, thinking also that the performance would be better.
    Now the enemies are almost perfect, I have to lower them only 1 bit and the environment will be really realistic.
    But I did not have a big jump in performance.
    I'm not satisfied, with 10 people the server did 10 to 18 fps , sometimes also 5.

  12. True even if you make nice environment in your mission this can be unplayable because server cant handle it.

  13. Some performance issues may be a result of too many/ poor-performance scripts as well.

  15. As of July 9th, file is no longer available for download. If you have not, maybe try using a macros with your scripts to improve performance, i.e. CBA's macros. I have made missions in the past using CBA's macros and module setup and have had success in optimizing missions.

  18. Would usually see anywhere from 5 fps increase to 20 fps depending on mods you are using, mission scripts, number players, and server hardware.
