On the download section it says "compatible with Arma 3 Stable 1.52.132676", which I'm sure you've all seen. But what makes it only compatible with 1.52? Are some things broken with 1.54?

I wouldn't read too much into it. It's not uncommon for downloads to tell you which version of something you need, when in fact it just means "don't use anything older than 1.52."
You're good on 1.54.

Edited 8 years ago by SpyderBlack723It means that was the current version of Arma when the update was released. Basically, it'll probably work with any future versions but there are no guarantees that something won't break as a result.
As Heroes said, pretty standard. Everything appears to be working fine with ALIVE with 1.54
