Infinite loading screen on dedi server, works on SP and editor MP

    Problem: Infinite loading screen on dedicated server, works on SP and editor MP

    Latest ALiVE version + bunch of other mods for gears, Altis, non vanilla factions, factions work on SP and spawn correct units.

    Map status: OPF insurgence AI commander with 2 civ locations synced with IED threat. BLU occupation AI commander with military site synced. military and civ locations are not synced, perhaps AI commanders cant find objectives? TAOR do not overlap but are correctly defined.

    Persistence is set to false, still returns Number for some reason.

    Question: Why infinite loading screen and how to solve?

  2. This can happen if the server does not have the required mods for the mission (a common occurrence when it works in SP and hosted MP but not dedicated MP).

    If you have the data module placed try removing it to see if persistence is the problem.

    Also a good test to rule out mission/mods issue is to try one of the demo missions available in the download or from alivemod.com

  3. Hmm I jsut updated my ALiVE to the version on github and now my mission wont fully initalize. Should I do the ol delete the old module and replace em? :P

    Didn't work unfortunately :( it was working fine and then when I changed to the new ALiVE version on github it would get hung up on the loading screen

    heres my rpt I noticed some conversations about including new zec, is that going to be a mod requirement? I noticed a lot of errors with compositions

    @Opendome the way compositions work has been changed in the latest build that's on github (1.2.0) there's probably a module that has some old data. Basically the composition dropdown became a text field.
