Setting player types / dissabling AI

    This is a silly question I am sure of it but for the life of me I can't figure out how to add playable players, to my mission, that arent AI...they just act as the different roles in a multiplayer scenario....like a medic, rifleman, engineer, pilot etc. So players can pick the type of characture they wish to play as.

    In MP you can click the "Disable AI" button in the slotting screen to prevent playable units to be taken over by AI. Not sure about the SP/editor.

    You should be able to set it somewhere in the mission settings.

    Thanks I did know that part. I want to dissable that and make them only spawnable by players in the editor.

    Add disabledAI = 1; to your description.ext file in your mission root, and in the editor, double click on every AI unit you want players to be able to play as, and check the "playable" box.

    If recruiting AI is important for your mission from within the mission itself, the Spyder Addons mod has a module that lets you do that.
