I like to have respawn at respawn markers in my bases, which are obviously nowhere near the place where I would have died. That's usually enough of a deterrent for me, having to drag my lazy ass back out to where the fight is.

Wanna make it worse? Put the respawn marker in the middle of nowhere with no available vehicles or gear. Your buddies will hate you in no time. :)
