How do I load a save game?

    You can check outside of TADST -

    open task manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del select Task Manager or Ctrl-Shift-ESC)
    Goto processes tab
    Right-click on arma3server.exe and select Set Affinity
    Right-click on arma3.exe and setect Set Affinity

    Assign server 2 cores (1 and 2 if you have more than 4.. .leave 0 out of the equation if possible) then your client the rest.

  3. So I assign server.exe 1and 2 and I assign arma3.exe cores 3 and 4. Is that correct (I have quad core)

  4. Yes correct (or more accurately server.exe gets 0 and 1, client.exe gets 2 and 3)

    All 4 cores are assigned to both of them. Still can't connect to War Room.

    Every requirement I need I have installed. I've even tried creating the ALiVE folder in the local app data and moving the alive.cfg there.....moving the alive.cfg to the Arma 3 root...

    Nothing is working.

    This is terribly frustrating.

    No stats, etc are going across and the War Room doesn't show me as playing any missions.

    So um... I am not sure if this is from Alive or just dedicated server weirdness, but I am noticing after loading up my game (persistence seems to work), all the vehicles and AI are randomly bouncing into the air, and helicopters (no other vehicles except when they bounce and get destroyed from falling) are just catching on fire as soon as they are spawned.

    It wasn't like this the first time I ran the mission on the dedicated local server, and it doesn't happen when I run it from a listen server. The only other mods I am running while this is happening are AllInArma, Panthera and Isla Duala (so I can play on Duala).

  8. One of our team members did the exact same setup...with TADST...and he's getting the exact same issue.

    Server runs great, no problems starting, joining...but hitting Server save and Exit....nothing. Just sits there saying "Saving...Please wait" and no record of his game on War Room.

    There has to be a step that is missing for folks who are running the dedicated server via TADST on the one computer.

  10. I've never used TADST myself so it is possible there is a step missing with your setup. I would log into the War Room and go through the instructions again on setting up your server with War Room. Then post your RPT and aliveserver logs.

    The units floating in the air seems to be happening on Isla Duala only correct? You're the 2nd person to mention this in the last few days...

  11. I posted my RPT log in the previous post. There is no aliveserver log anywhere that I can find.

  13. Yup. Spyder and I were on Teamspeak for a good long while last night brainstorming. We also had a buddy download TADST, do the exact same installation...and my buddy is getting the exact same issue. Runs great, plays great, won't save any info to the War Room and no evidence he ever played a game on the War Room.

    It's got to be a step missing somewhere. I don't know if there is something special folks running TADST need to do but this is consuming me until I figure it out. lol

    I'm dying to get persistence going so we can run some long term missions.

    Yeah it was Duala. I am not using the TADST thing; I set up my server manually. I'm guessing it's the last few updates to the map causing my issue. I'll have to try a mission on Altis later tonight to be sure.

    Anxiously awaiting a Dev to help me on this. I've tried for 2 days to get this to work unsuccessfully. I'm out of ideas. Back to single session missions for the time being I guess.

  17. *NOTE* This has been resolved. I got it working now.

  19. I deleted the ALiVE Data module, placed it back again, then resaved the mission.

    I also had my TADST pointed to the ARMA server folder, instead of ARMA root. So I changed that as well.

    Then it worked.

  20. As for my bouncing AI: seems it is Duala. Copied he exact mission on Stratis from Eric's example and everything works perfect with no bouncing.

    I've just reindexed Duala. I'll test with the dev version and see if the issue is still there.
