New error after BIS update (SOLVED)

    So I have a new error that I can't make heads or tails of. It happens at mission start when previewing in the SP editor. Before the update in the very same mission, I had no error at all. Here's a photo: https://www.dropbox.com/s/i4vtg73nnskcuyg/image.jpeg?dl=0

    I'm not sure if it's caused by ALiVE itself, or some of the scripts found in the forums here? I'm using the Intel on dead bodies script: http://alivemod.com/forum/1636-intel-on-dead-bodies-or-in-buildings

    And also a script to "save" AI teammate location for persistence: http://alivemod.com/forum/1613-ai-teammates-location-persistence

    The mission takes over five minutes to load now on my dedicated server (used to take 30 seconds) so I'd have to imagine it's all related if I were to guess. I'd appreciate any help on what could be causing this.

  2. Looks like it's trying to return a list of Zeus players but failing.. thanks for the info. Do you have the RPT file for that session by chance?

  3. I did see a Zeus related error when testing yesterday although it wasn't consistent. Will check again tonight.

  4. I'm not using Zeus. Never tried it. Strange.

    What report do you need? Which folder was that in again?

  5. That's the main RPT file in the root A3 directory. Named something like arma3server_datestamp.RPT

  6. Cool. I'll get it but it will be much much later. I have to work. I'll probably repro it again seeing as it's 100% reproducible. Thanks guys.

    Sorry. This error is only visible when I preview the mission in the editor (I'm assuming it happens on the server too. I just can't see it). Is this still the correct location for the report? Do I need to start my server first and try to play the mission in MP?

  8. no the editor session is fine.. RPT should be in the root A3 folder on your client as well

    This started as soon as you updated to 1.56 right? Not after updating to ALiVE 1.0?

    Title says so but just checking because that narrows down the potential error points.

  13. That's correct. Error first showed up yesterday after the Eden update.

    Did you update CBA too? Looks like the new CBA update may have changed the ordering of stuff and is causing this error. Good news is.. it appears that is has no actual affect on gameplay.

    Not seeing the error after updating, post again if you have any more troubles with it.

  16. Yeah I'm subscribed on Workshop finally now. The error last night was with the most current CBA (as of yesterday). I've yet to try today's hotfix.

    I agree the error seems harmless but I'm convinced it's causing my load time to about quintuple. For that reason alone if today's CBA update doesn't fix it, I really hope this can get fixed either by you guys or BIS. My mission used to load in about 30 seconds tops. Now it's so long I can check my email, make a sandwich and ponder my place in the universe. Don't get me wrong, I like sandwiches email and the universe, but I'd rather be playing the game. :)

    Make sure in the EDEN editor

    Settings (Top of screen) >> Preferences >> Recompile Functions is unchecked.

    If checked, that will slow down load times quite a bit.

  20. I think I'm getting the same error despite the CBA hotfix. I'm not sure if it's causing the delays but I seem to have them too. The gamebreaking part of it for me is that it delays the loading time past the mission briefing / map screen and also skips the intro, and also skips the player persistence module init. So no player persistence.. There may be a new mod conflict so I'll do some testing. Seems to be funky with just ALiVE and CBA though.
