How To Let Anyone Detect/Defuse IEDs? (SOLVED)

    Hello everyone!

    I was wondering how I can make it so all classes (not just explosive specialists) can detect/disarm IEDs? The mission I made allows people to switch between premade loadouts so their unit class doesn't necessarily reflect their loadout. I was testing it with the mine detector and noticed it didn't do anything and then pulled up the wiki page and noticed its just explosive specialists by default lol.

    Also just tried it with an explosive specialist and I still dont hear any tone with the metal detector with an IED right in front of me.

    The required item should cover this. Just have the set required item and you should be able to act as an explosive specialist (I believe so at least).

  3. Having fun with explosives for everyone is not an good idea. Who isn't a specialist shuld never get close to the IED

  4. Hey Spyder! Great thanks! I switched the cur from audio to text and I got the text prompt :D Then switched it back to audio and worked as well, I was just expecting constant beeping or something lol.

    You can also add "EOD" to a vehicle object name to allow it to detect IEDs.

  8. So basically I could name a truck EODTruck1 in the editor and it would allow detection and disarming? Am I understanding that correctly?

    yes :)

    Just about to push some updates to IED:

    1. Audio detection now has a beep that increases in pitch and frequency as you near an IED
    2. When disarming an IED, the IED is removed and the disarmer is given an explosive charge.

  11. Also, I just tried syncing the IED module to the AI Commander on Asymetric with high facilities, then assigned TAOR markers to the civilian/military placement modules but I don't see any IEDs in the IED debug. Also when I select IED Threat level its default is 0?
