ALiVE Military Air Component Commander Module

Military Air Component Commander of factions, that are configured with air units, use aircraft to conduct tasks in support of the ground troops. Air units are spawned at objectives by Placement Modules at mission start. Initial analysis defines and prioritises a list of Air Tasking Orders and assigns available assets. Additional ATO are generated on demand by OPCOM.

Usage:

Basics: Place ATO module and sync to OPCOM modules.

Placement: Position of module will define where ATO HQ is placed.

Direction: No effect

Sync: OPCOMs from same side as primary module faction. Place empty aircraft on map if you wish to hand place ATO assets. Otherwise ATO will use Placement Module assets. Can manually place USS Freedom, place empty air assets on deck and then place ATO module on top of USS Freedom (to use as HQ). (Don’t select place air in modules). Radio (text) messages from HQ will be delivered to all units on same side about ATOs requested and in progress.

Module Params:

Debug: Will report state of all ATO’s every 10 seconds in RPT. Will place markers for assigned assets and targets.

Persistent: NOT IMPLEMENTED

Faction: Primary faction for air assets (will inherit factions from synced OPCOMs too)

ATO Types: Array of ATOs. See Available Air Tasking Orders an example: [“CAP”,”DCA”] Air Space: Whitelist marker area. Equivalent to TAOR for OPCOM. Only applies to CAP. If no Air Space define, whole map is used by default.

Create HQ: Places a composition as an ATO HQ otherwise uses nearest building

Place Air: Ensures that at least 1 armed fixed wing and 1 armed rotary wing assets are available (if none are placed by placement modules)

Place AA: Places AA defenses around ATO HQ
